The preceding is silly. But this I think will be a valuable reference.

Averages of all hitters with at least 400 plate appearances last year

BABIP .305

G/L/F 42/22/36

WAR 2.4

Bat 7

Field 0

Run 0

HR/FB 16%

Pull 41%

Hard 40%

IFFB 7%

Averages aren't totally accurate -- the average batting average of the 207 hitters who had at least 400 PA is .266, their actual combined batting average is .268 -- but they are close enough.

Hitters who hit the ball hard more than 40 percent of the time (when they hit it at all) are hitting the ball harder than the average hitter.

Wait. I mean hard more often! The hitters who hit the ball hardest have the highest exit velocity, and that, alas, we don't show on the player pages.

Maybe next year.

Extensive leaderboards relevant to us available in the Stats section. Top AL pitchers in $5x5, top NL hitters  in 4x4, top mixed league hitters, using the formulas that out used for each league. Plus all the standard leaderboards. HR, SB, wins saves and so forth in 2019.

It's amazing how little changes, at least at the top, when you sort by AP4, PK5 and MF5.
