Sent to AAA today. Will be inefficiently slugging homers in the AL by July.

10 team experts mock draft today ... roto format ... Tomas goes undrafted.
Regular 14 hitter lineup, NL only.

I started putting my bids together in January out of necessity (primarily for the CBS auctions in February) but I found that doing so has mostly helped to avoid the "swings of sentiment" you're alluding to below. And you're right; some of the biggest mistakes I made last year was moving a player too far up or down based on a nugget of spring news that ultimately didn't amount of much of anything.

I find that in both fantasy baseball and fantasy football, the pre-draft period sees huge swings of sentiment towards a player, and the inertia of that sentiment, whether positive or negative, takes the player's valuation beyond where it should be.
In the 'everyone has the same information' era, this is where the relatively scarce bargains may be found.

Definitely worth a bit. But imo that bit would have to come out of the $19 projection for Lamb ... since his main way to significant PT might be if the D'Backs tire of Lamb's sub .600 OPS against lefties. I don't know if they want to try Tomas back there again, but with Drury gone they have to find some solution. OTOH, that solution could be Walker, which puts more pressure on them to keep Tomas on the roster.

i dig him as a low end flier. The thing is there are so many of these guys in the NL this year. Grab one or maybe two of them and hope for the best.
