Hit his 5th HR today...that SLG% is starting to climb.
With all the focus on Bryant and Pederson, Tomas has quielty been a nice fantasy performer as a rookie.

Lamb is about to come off the DL; boy, they are crowded there with OF/3Bers. And Pete O'Brien is knocking at the door, although more likely to play catcher.

And he seems to be holding his own at third.

Problems with that? Take them up with BobinTx - who had traded for and made both picks ...
Gotta think that with Lamb's start, they're not bringing Tomas up to play 3rd.
As for a trade ... I'm sure the Braves would love to move Trumbo, and his $7 mil 2015 salary is certainly not an impediment ... but it would help if he started hitting well enough for a trade partner to be interested in giving up any value for him.

Here was my logic - In general, I'd take Russell, because the moment those two picks are made, I think Russell is worth more in a trade. However, once Peraza comes up and starts stealing bases while Russell is in the minors, I think he has more trade value.
