Rotowire:

Monster performance in win
July 22, 2021
Diaz (neck) went 4-for-5 with a solo home run, a triple and an additional run scored in Thursday's 5-4 extra-inning win over Cleveland.
ANALYSIS
Diaz was held out of the lineup for two days with neck spasms, but he made his presence felt in his return. The 29-year-old played a key role in Tampa Bay's comeback, getting them within a run with his ninth-inning solo shot. The infielder is now slashing .261/.378/.366 with six homers, 33 RBI and 39 runs scored through 339 plate appearances. His triple was his first since the 2019 season.
