Ken Singleton after Wade stole his first base today: "Another thing I like about him is he slid in there feet first."

And popped up ready to keep going. It's insane that all players aren't, uh, strongly encouraged to slide this way.

We can't speculate on minor leaguers in LABR once the season starts so it will be interesting to see where the bidding lands on Wade.

My players are dropping like flies.  Chris Davis, JJ Hardy, Keuchel, Andriese, and now Castro.  I'm going to have to bid heavy on Wade.  Wish I had taken him last week as he was featured on Sickels's website last week by another author.

Re Doug Fister thread, get ready to spend $18, Peter.

Getting the call from the Yankees to replace an injured Castro.

Currently hitting .313 with five homers and 24 stolen bases this season in AAA.
