What a maddening pitcher!

Why?

Because he looks awful and when I had him he pitched awful (13.50 ERA in three starts). And now he's got a three-game winning streak going.

No one touched him yesterday in the ADL when he had a two-game winning streak.

Why didn't I replace Tyler Duffey with somebody, anybody, in Monday's claims?

Because he was pitching against the Braves this week.

Fortunately, he can't pitch again before next Monday.

With Kela and now Richards down, I feel fortunate to have grabbed Duffey and Salas. But my run at the flag has taken an early detour. Thanks for the good words on Duffey. He's off to a nice start.

Blossomed in the minors last year after being a Sickels sleeper. Held his own in the majors. I grabbed him in this week's FAAB. I'm considering him almost this year's Marco Estrada - an underwhelming pedigreed pitcher who projects for better than replacement.

May not begin the year in the rotation.

I'm going to take him to $5 just based on his G/L/F.

Thank you, Tim. I didn't have a chance to see him last year, and appreciate your insight.

Yes (on the tube) and Yes for me. Kid's got a great bender and at that price I think you'll be very happy. I'm targeting him as a late-rounder in my 15-team Mixed leagues.

Has anyone seen this kid pitch? If so, do you think he's worth a $1 keeper spot in AL-only?
