A reasonable price. I am sold. If Kluber is traded Bauer will be the staff ace.

I'm not sold.  I'd go back down to $22-23.

I'm working on Big Prices for the Guide. Today I have Trevor Bauer with a price of $28. What do you think?

Out-game-scored Dylan Covey, 69-53, but got beat 3-2. In his last three starts, he's walked six, fanned 35 in 21.1 IP. His record is 1-2.

The new "Deflate-gate" or 'Pine-tar gate" conspiracy is upon us.

Bauer is one different, yet one smart, cat. That's why I like him.

Let's ask Michael Pineda if the "gunk" on his neck was similar to the "gunk" on the piece of dry but dirty plastic McCullers used to patch his damaged lucky cleats last start.

Again, more strikeouts than hits last month in MLB, and the Astros are leading the way with 347 K's to lead MLB.

Maybe the smart baseball people have realized cheating is better on the pitching side?

He is at that, Keith. Did he intentionally make a point, and possibly a valid one, in his last start? http://thecomeback.com/mlb/trevor-bauer-may-have-used-an-illicit-substance-on-the-ball-during-his-last-start-to-prove-a-point-about-the-astros.html

Trevor Bauer (P) CLE - Mar. 5

Bauer tweaked his slider during the offseason in an attempt to mimic the movement
of teammate Corey Kluber's slurve and Toronto's Marcus Stroman's curveball, Zack
Meisel of The Athletic Cleveland reports.

ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Notorious for his ever-changing arsenal and exhaustive video study, Bauer entered the winter determined to add a more effective off-speed offering to his repertoire. Bauer, who said he logged around 30 innings between the end of the 2017 season and spring training to test out the new pitch against hitters, believes the slider will result in more lateral break and translate to weaker or less contact from opposing hitters. Bauer has found success in his first two spring outings to date, conceding just one run and striking out seven over five innings.
