He was not taken in our auction. I was able to FAAB him when Nady was DL"d for $3.

I tried to get Buck and ended up with Sweeney.

I do in Sportsline: the league where I'm now pretty much actively Sweeneying.

Slyke has him in our money A.L.

Sixth wheel says no. I liked Gutierrez and Sweeney better from a couple of ST games I saw - but don't go by me because I also liked Rajai Davis. Franklin is making me play my $1 Andruw Jones.

Does everyone here -- all five of us -- own Travis Buck?

The shocker is that he swiped a bag yesterday. The sixth of the season for the A's. Also six CS, indicating quite a few, if not the majority, were botched hit-and-runs.

I think it's six now. They had an off day and a rainout, so it only seems like more.

As the last starting OF on the board in my league, I bid $9 for him just before the end-game. Turns out, he's not quite a starting OF. I guess I should have gambled and taken Melky. He went for $2. Oh, and Gardner went for $14 shortly before Buck.

Sitting again tonight with Kazmir on the hill for the Rays. Geez, how many LH starters have the A's faced in the last week?

He's pretty much in a straight platoon, and the A's just ran through an unusually high number of LHP in the last week. So he should start playing more, but it has to be frustrating for Buck owners that he's sitting in favor of Raj Davis and Landon Powell.
