The downside to me here is no real HR or real SB upside based on his history.

The BABIP is high ... but then it was crazy high this year in AAA as well (.427).  Word is that he made some major adjustments ... but then of course nobody has a consistent BABIP above .400.

But he's making contact, and he's taking a fair number of walks.  The high early BABIP gives him a toehold in PT that he may not have to relinquish.

Needs a team change. Only picked him up in one league but looks like he could be useful though the BABIP is very high.

Apologies to Tauchman, Thairo might end up being the most valuable part the Giants got from the Yankees this year.  After being sold to SF he's been raking all year at AAA.  

.378/.440/.615 in 143 ABs.  and striking out less than 17% of the time.

Giants are getting solid production out of their middle infield, so no reason to push him.  But if another injury happens ...
