That Steve Kline is notable as he is the only major league baseball player that I actually know personally.

And because of that, I believe that his page needs a comment, which I will dutifully supply now on his page.

Did not come back as a 60 year old.  And died earlier this month.  His best year was 1972.  2.2 K/9.  11 complete games, 16 wins.  2.40 ERA.  If strikeouts weren't added to make a fifth pitching category, would we still see stats like these, which were not so atypical?
