He so closely replicated his production in the NL that we can see, for pricing purposes, the two leagues were the same this year.

I think a lot of teams want to have their rosters set before MLB decides they can't sign any more players for most of the winter. I think some of the players in their 30s want to sign as well, so they can feel secure. The guys like Correa and Seager will have their markets whenever and for however long free agency occurs before spring training.

The Mets let players 27-29 walk and signed players all around age 32-33.

Am I the only one who thinks it's odd that free agents are signing with the Mets when they don't have a manager?

I know I'd feel better about my Marte ownership if I knew he had a manager who liked to run

Easily the best center fielder in this class, though his age calls into question how much longer he can play there.

Prediction: Mets, three years, $75 million

Ends with 55 SBs which now a days is pretty much like Vince Coleman when Coleman was getting 100 in roto.

Many leagues he'll be available in next year, almost all if he comes back to the NL. 30, 32, 32, 37 these past few seasons. But, again, it's mostly speed based and he's 33 now so how much longer. (Coleman's last good stealing year was as a 33-yo).

Of course, Marte is a better all around player than Coleman was as well with his .289 career mark more than 30 points higher than Coleman's.

Sorry that I only got him in one of my NL-Only. Pretty much giving me the SB category in the league where I got him. Hoping he re-signs back to the NL (not that I can keep him, but I do enjoy bidding on him). Whatever league he's in next season, he goes close to $40 in any league with inflation.

For you AL-only guys who haven't yet had the pleasure, avoid A's prospects like the plague. None are untouchable. They are always at risk of going to the NL at any point.

Headed to the A's in a one for one swap for Luzardo. Marlins pay the salary and get the better prospect back.
