It doesn’t exist. But we keep hoping.

Seadogs, I agree. My league (5x5 AL keeper), has been 13 hit, 10 pitch for quite a while. I looked today at unowned players, maybe one hitter I would grab. Pitchers? at least a dozen. That says to me 13 hit, 11 pitchers. Wouldn't hurt to go 12 pitchers if our goal is to support starters. nothing wrong with owning 24 or 25 players as the last guys go for a buck anyway. keep the minimum IP. Stay with the 5x5 we have now.
We really just need to rejigger our positions to be something like 12 P, 13 H or even 12 H, 12 P. The problem is we simply don't need those players AND with IP requirements they can't fit. Agree that you would "shift" players from worse starters to better middles, but again, the whole point of IP guys is to shift the other direciton.
Here's an off-the-wall Stage Four idea ...
Change "Strikeouts" to "GamesPlayed" ... then create 3 "positions" within the pitching ranks ... "Wins", "Saves", "GamesPlayed" ... and for each pitcher, you have to slot him into one of those positions ... and that determines the only "counting stat" that that pitcher can accrue that week ... ie. "lucky wins" and "lucky saves" don't count :-)
The goal of this variant is ... make valuable the middle guys which populate the current free agent list ... if you're good enough to get into ANY game, you have some value ... and perhaps this is a way to mimic that in roto ...
Maybe there's a variant of this variant that's worth considering ...

The Draft Grid is on ToutWars.com in the right nav. There's a link to draft results and grids for each of the leagues.
And here's a link to the four Auction lists in nomination order. Click here. See the different tabs for each league and bonus AL Grid (without reserves).

Hi All:
Does anybody have a clean link for the Tout Wars NL only Draft (Auction) Results. The only one I can find is for the "Live Draft Sheet" which refreshes every 20 seconds and goes back to the the first 25 or so players.
Thanks.

Interesting. Can't wait for Doubt Wars.
On the AL side of the equation, I've done my raw pricing. I have Ray $25, Verlander $24, Gausman $20, Berrios $19, Manoah $15, and Lynn $14 for those guys. As Alex says, bids are bets. I'm betting on Ray and Verlander compared to the expert market and against Manoah and Lynn.

Looking at the prices in LABR and Tout Wars, we saw a wide range of opinions about certain hitters (Seiya Suzuki, Ke'Bryan Hayes). As you would expect.
As I entered the prices, I was impressed by the very narrow range for the better (not the very best) starting pitchers.

We've got the worst of all worlds. We were scheduled to auction in NY in early April, cancelled it, and now we're trying to reschedule, and it's just not working . . . we may well do ANOTHER goddamned Zoom.
