It doesn’t exist. But we keep hoping.

Look, I'm just saying that women don't do well in STEM because their brains are only the half the size of a man's.

Well then, a few questions:  do you think the Jews run everything?; and, although you choose to live your life as a gay Jewish man, is that what you are or do you just want to see what it feels like because Jews run everything, and many are gay?

I love snarky, off-putting humor.  But, this is fantasy baseball, after all.  This is serious stuff.  We forsake our families and professions for this.

You see, my brand of humor is the kind that is snarky, off-putting, and often not the least bit funny.
The intention of my not-funny post was that I should be writing for BA because I've said what they're saying now for years; but I could never write for them because as soon as I got a column I'd say something stupid that you're not allowed to say and immediately get fired.
The irony here is that I didn't 'see it as soon as I typed it' and didn't realize that my comment (which was making fun of myself and my inability to filter myself) could have been taken to meant that I, in fact, harbor resentment towards the Jews because they run everything.
Unfortunately I'm pretty old now and I'm not likely to change, but this mix up has encouraged me to address other things about my life. I've had relationships with both Jews and non-Jews, and I now choose to live my life as a gay Jewish man.

Changing the topic (and asking for help):  our league has been around since the mid-80s, and we've always handled the live auctions with posterboards for each team, which the teams update as the auction progresses.  For the first time this year, we'd like to try a shared spreadsheet (probably Google Docs), which we'd project up in the room so everybody can see all the teams all the time.  I'm sure we can come up with a spreadsheet, but since some of you have been in expert leagues that provide live spreadsheet updates, does anybody have a template for such things, where we could post purchases and salaries?  Thanks in advance.

There are those who are intent on tossing in politics here even when it's been shown, time and again, that nobody's here for that.

Neither am I,TommyR. I don't think that anyone wants to read all of what I think about this imbecilic comment, but I am not going to let it slide. Let's keep Stage Four about baseball.

Andy *has* been making this point for years now, just as I have been making the Andy For President point for years now.  But I can downgrade (upgrade?) to Andy For Baseball America Column.

I'm sorry, is there a reference here?  Is this sarcasm?  I'm not following the intent of the preceding post on this thread.

If the goal is to eliminate the incentives that entice a team to be terrible at the big league level for a number of years, you have to create incentives for not being awful, or disincentives that punish teams for being putrid.

I call plagiarism! I've been making this exact same point in the PCL for years now.
I don't see any reason whatsoever that I shouldn't be able to have a weekly column in Baseball America. Seriously, what possible reason could they have for not giving me a job? Unless the Jews who run everything ---- Oh yea, that's the reason. I saw it as soon as I typed it.
