Thread: Stage Four

It doesn’t exist. But we keep hoping.

Welcome! You are invited to wander around and read all of the comments that have been posted here at Patton & Co., but as soon as you register you can see the bid limits that Alex, Peter and Mike propose for each player, and you can post your own comments. Registering is free, so please join us!

The GM changes in AZ, SD, and LA as well as Miami's promise to Stanton are really fueling these winter meetings.

Kris Bryant

Of course, Tulo got injured per usual and one of the 2 closers was Huston Street who was traded a month or so later but the third guy was a $10 K-Rod who was used as the key chip in the 18 player dump trade.

Wow, what happened? I haven't checked in in a few months and holy cannoli has this site changed!

Alex and Peter, I hope this new site brings you guys the commercial success that you both deserve. Let's see where you guys take this thing, looks pretty promising so far.

2014 I returned to the game after taking off the first half of 2013. My partner and I won our home league despite some amazing dump trades which our competitors benefitted from. This included someone trading 2 closers and Troy Tulowitzki for a minor league player in late May and then an 18 player dump trade to the same team! We managed to win by waiting it out and making the moves we had to.

Congratulations to Buck Davidson in winning the inaugural Patton & Co. Post Season League. Buck not only won, but absolutely ran away with this one, winning by an amazing 112.59 points over yours truly. Congrats to Lynch for sliding into third. Slyke staged a nice little run in the World Series round to move on up into fifth. Nicely played. This is my fifth year playing some type of Post-Season League at Fantasy Postseason and apparently they have now introduced a roto format for their playoff Leagues. If the interest is there next fall I think I'll give a change in format from a points based League a serious look. I'd like to thank everyone for partaking and any and all feedback is always appreciated.

Three rounds are now complete in the Patton & Co Post-season League and Buck has now opened up a 24 point lead. It appears that Buck and myself will be going into the World Series with a full roster of ten counting players. Lynch with seven active and Perry with six. Good luck in the Series guys!

Buck- 328.68
Perry- 304.60
Tim- 294.73
Lynch- 291.28
Mike- 242.73
Tex- 238.65
Peter- 233.07
Slyke- 215.30
Carter- 206.67
and three teams that won't be getting invites next year.....

Have been busy, but meant to post a congratulations here to both Keith and Phil for their joint CBS win. If I had to lose to someone in that league, glad it was the Patton guys.

Two rounds completed and Perry has opened up a solid 32+ point lead in the PCPSL. He's got a balanced squad with three players per team max, which is a good thing as he's down to his last two transactions. Replacing his big gun in the second round, Bryce Harper is going to be tough. Tex had a solid second round moving up into 5th on the strength of his Nelson Cruz/Matt Adams led offense which was good for 48.5 points.
The current leader board is,

Perry 199.68
Buck 167.10
Jason 157.87
Lynch 145.58
Four teams between 133.30 and 137.17.

Jesus Tapdancing Christ. When we e-mailed CBS support about that, they said, "Uh-uh, we don't do that." Thanks for the tip.

But I still think we're switching.
