I'm going out on a limb tonight - going to try my hand at a 15 team mixed draft. This should be interesting, given how far it is out of my wheelhouse.

For the second time in our AL-only league's history (founded 1985), we're having our auction in a bar. With a REALLY good beer list.

I'm thinkin' about noon for that first IPA.

In the first round, best available talent. After that, in AL and NL-only leagues, there's not much talent left. You go back and forth between the other two choices, as you switch to your first can of beer after way too many Red Bulls.

Question on reserve draft.

Do you try to reinforce your strategy?

Do you try to draft for the holes in your draft (either position or stat type)?

Or do you just go for best available talent?

My preliminary tests are not encouraging. What file types are supported?, I remember being able to get these lists from Patton into XL fairly easily on a PC. Can we get a csv out of this?
As for copying and pasting, it can't seem to select more than one player at a time, which would be a bit of a drag to export the data that way.
I'll try again later. There is fresh draft Guinness waiting for me right now.

I would think since it is simple text that you could copy and paste into excel. Unless across the 'platforms', but I guess WINE isn't really across platforms, you can't. I will try too.

It sounds like the default is to let you paste from the WINE clipboard to an outside program, so you should be okay copying into Excel or Text Edit or whatever.

If not, Google WINE Clipboard. There're programs and workarounds and tips galore, though it's hard to tell which pertain since I'm not running it.

One thing that occurred to me after I shut it off, are we going to be able to export our data sheets to excel? I will try tonight and report back.

I'm glad to hear that. My problems in Fusion are also often a matter of hitting CMD instead of CTRL. That is, operator error mixed with system complexity.

Syd and Rotoman, I do occasionally get the program to freeze up on me. I don't know if it is a WINE/Mac issue, or if I piss it off with my keystrokes (you know, remembering to hit control instead of the Apple command key), or if it just does it to remind me why I don't miss Windows.

But frequent saving of data (repeat after me, control S not command S) has made this largely a non-issue.
