Sixto Sanchez (P) MIA - Jun. 21
https://www.rotowire.com/baseball/player.php?id=786698

Sanchez (shoulder) was cleared last week to extend his throwing distance off flat ground to 75 feet, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Sanchez is conducting his rehab program for his shoulder injury at the Marlins' spring training facility in Jupiter, Fla., and he'll likely remain there for at least a few more weeks while he ramps up again following a lengthy shutdown. Given that Sanchez has not yet advanced to mound work, he seems unlikely to complete a full throwing program before the All-Star break arrives in mid-July.

I'm downshifting on Sanchez in ReDraft Leagues and holding firm in Keeper and Dynasty formats. I believe the bulk of the young arms we saw make their debut in 2020 are going to have serious IP limitations in 2021. The pitching component of our game, especially when looking at young pitching, is going to create some unique challenges this season.

Folks love the strikeouts, especially in fantasy leagues that count strikeouts.

Keep ending up with Sixto in mocks, getting him with the 21st pick in the prospects mock, and the 7th round of a Dynasty startup last week.  Am I missing something?

Sixto is sixth on BA's top 100 prospects list, unveiled yesterday.

Notes:

Final 2020 Ranking: 14
Tools: Fastball: 80 | Changeup: 70 | Slider: 55 | Curveball: 55 | Control: 60
Skinny: With elite fastball velocity, a devastating changeup and rare control for a power pitcher, Sanchez is primed to build on his excellent MLB debut.
