How's this for filling up the box score:

3-6 with 2 runs scored, a walk, a HR, 2 stolen bases, two innings pitched - giving up 3 hits, 3 walks, and 1 run and taking the loss.

Back to the DL with a groin strain. Earlier it was a right oblique. He's not mighty.

The Golden Sombrero in his season debut.

In 27 rehab games (both A and AAA) he slashed .370/.452/.593 and stole two bases in three attempts. But he also fanned 11 times.

Roman Quinn (OF) PHI - Apr. 5

Quinn (oblique) could be back as soon as Monday, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic reports.

ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Quinn has been battling an oblique strain since late February, but he's played in one rehab game and is expected to play in two more over the weekend. It's unclear if he'll have a shot initially to challenge Odubel Herrera for playing time in center field, but he should at least fill a bench role and could be a late-inning pinch runner due to his speed.

I had Quinn as a keeper in both my leagues, one for $5 and one for $10. I was maxed out in keepers in both, so I offered him in every deal, no one was interested.

This week, I bought him at both auctions for $1 more - for $6 and $11 respectively.

Why? Because next season he will be the Phillies CF and will steal 50 bases. And if the increasingly not great Odubel Herrera stumbles, it may happen sooner.

Like Annie Savoy, each year I pick one guy, and this year it was Quinn.

Roman Quinn (OF) PHI - Mar. 19

Quinn (oblique) is expected to open the season on the injured list, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: A decent small-sample run at the end of last season generated some buzz for Quinn heading into this year, but the injury bug bit him yet again, and it's now unclear when he'll make his season debut. Odubel Herrera will win the center field job by default, but Quinn could still make a push at some point this year when Herrera goes on one of his customary cold streaks.
