Reiver celebrated May Day in a bar, I imagine. And if he didn't, his owners did.
Which very well could be one owner, me, who's stuck with him all year in NL Doubt.
Yesterday he allowed eight baserunners and six runs while recording two loud outs.
Before today's stat feed, here are the numbers.
22 H, 3 HR, 7 BB, 10 SO in 15.1 IP
ERA 11:15
WHIP 1.89
BABIP .364
G/L/F 46/27/27
(I expect the exit velo of the grounders is high)
$4x4 -7
$5x5 -5

When I made Reiver my last pick in NL Doubt, I thought he was a difference-maker. I was right about that.
This being Doubt, I am rooting for him to fall through the ice.
Rotoworld:
04.26... Reiver Sanmartin was torched for nine runs in three-plus innings Tuesday against the Padres.
Spin:
Sanmartin actually retired the first eight batters he faced of this one
before Ha-Seong Kim launched a solo home run. He then got the final out
of the third inning but proceeded to let eight straight batters reach
in the fourth, with the final straw being a bases-loaded walk to Kim.
Reliever Jeff Hoffman came on to allow a bases-clearing triple, adding
three more runs to Sanmartin's atrocious line. The lefty has now been
knocked around by the Padres in each of his last two outings and overall
has struggled in three of four starts. His rotation spot might be on
thin ice, but for now he's lined up to start Sunday in Colorado.

I thought I found a Todd Zola $1 gem in NL Doubt.
Rotoworld:
04.08... Reiver Sanmartin gave up five runs on four hits and walked five over 2 1/3 innings
in Friday's loss to the Braves.
Spin:
At least he managed to strike out two batters. Sanmartin managed to
escape the bottom of the first unscathed before allowing two runs in the
bottom of the second and three in the bottom of the third. Given his
solid command and control skills, it's fair to assume that the five
walks might've been the consequence of nibbling against a good lineup.
With a Thursday night matchup at Dodger Stadium on deck, things won't be
getting any easier for the 25-year-old southpaw.
Tuesday's Cactus League win over the Rangers.
Spin: Sanmartin struck out one without walking a batter, in what was a strong overall
start. He saw a successful cup of major league coffee last September and
prior to that posted a nice 3.32 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 112/28 K/BB ratio
in 100 1/3 innings between Double- and Triple-A. Fantasy managers in
deeper formats wouldn't be blamed for taking a late dart throw, here.

from FG prior to last year on Sanmartin- Sanmartin has been traded a few times (Texas to New York to Cincinnati). He’s a little low-slot lefty whose tailing fastball and sweeping slider move away from one another in an effective way. He has a shot to end up with plus command and make a roster.
He is listed as a sleeper or was.

Anyone have an opinion on Sanmartin? He's a name I don't know but projected to start in the rotation this year.
