The slow starts by Desmond, McMahon and Hampson ... plus the injuries to Murphy and Dahl ... gave him an opportunity.  So far he's taken advantage of it.

That's a high BABIP, but a high BABIP is a tool he showed in the minors.  The question now is just will he start to run as it warms up?

Not acquired at Tout until reserves, maybe because Hampson (18!) is seeing time in the OF.

I'd keep him at $2.  He's out of options, so he's coming north ... and if he's on the team, barring injury, he'll reach Rotoman's computer projection this year.

Thinking of keeping him at 2, given the injury risks that Dahl and Desmond in CF pose, and that their best hitting prospects are IFs, so i can see letting go of a marginal SP for him.

The difference between all-in and marginal starting pitcher is vast. Clearly not a guy to bet on on the come, but 25 years olds with speed and some power in a hitters park are the sorts of guys who can surprise. The Rockies Triple-A feeder is an offensive factory, which didn't play so well for Tapia last year. But at the end of a draft I'd definitely give him a shot.

I went all-in on him last year in my home league ... that hurt ... seems like his opportunity has passed ... the latest I'm seeing is that Ian Desmond will be the CFer ... ouch.

Small sample size applies; but if that jump in FB% is launch angle motivated...I'd pass.

He's been offered to me for a marginal SP. Any thoughts?
