Unsurprisingly DFA'ed by Philly.  He seems done to me.  Probably not fast enough to catch on as a pinch-runner type for a contender. Has he made enough money to not sign a minor league deal next spring?

If Odubel is going down he's going down swinging. This is funny video.

Phillies activated OF Odúbel Herrera from the 10-day injured list.

Herrera got a late start to the season after straining an oblique late in spring training, but he's played a handful of rehab games with no issues. The 30-year-old should play regularly in center field, at least against right-handers.

Could use a page for Simon Muzziotti, although I suspect his time in the majors could be coming to an end with Odubel due back soon.

Odubel Herrera (OF) PHI - Mar. 23
https://www.rotowire.com/baseball/player.php?id=12704

Herrera is likely to miss Opening Day after being diagnosed with a mild oblique strain Wednesday, and he could be out for 4-to-6 weeks, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Herrera hasn't been officially ruled out for Opening Day, but it's fair to assume he won't be game ready with only 16 days until the April 8 opener against the A's. The 30-year-old re-signed with the Phillies on a one-year deal last week and was poised to start in center field, but Matt Vierling and Adam Haseley are now the likely candidates for the job.

Returns to Philly for a like platoon with Vierling.
