Re LVW's post under Bauer, I drafted Mitch Garver very early specifically to take advantage of all the AB he would get against the Royals, Tigers and Pirates.

Mitch Garver's (intercostal) return will be delayed after he "took one off
the cup"
while catching at the Twins' alternate training site, per
manager Rocco Baldelli.

It's not clear at this point how big of a setback it is. Garver had
been inching toward a return from his right intercostal strain, but now
obviously this clouds things.  Aaron Gleeman on Twitter (Rotoworld.com)

0-for-5 with two more strikeouts as his batting average drops to .094. Before the stat feed he's earned -1 in both formats.

Trashing him again to help him break his slump.

Or not quite as worthless, as the baggies have pointed out.

As usual, trashing one of your players helps. Garver hit a home run today.

I picked Astudillo in the draft last Sunday as my second catcher behind Garver. It wasn't the plan that the following Sunday, working out at the alternate training site, Astudillio would be more valuable.

He slugged .609 Pre All-Star. And then he slugged .652 Post All-Star.
