Herrera is second on the team in OPS.
Of course, that's more of a reflection on Castellanos, Hoskins, Schwarber and Realmuto than it is an endorsement of Odubel. :)

Moniak was activated today after a very solid rehab stint. Herrera, Vierling, and Quinn didn't/haven't proven to be overwhelmingly successful so I think the Phillies will give Moniak plenty of early opps to own the CF gig.

Was looking forward to activating him from my reserves next week (we auction this weekend). Unfortunately now I wouldn't expect him to be a productive hitter until the second half, even if he is back before the end of May.
OTOH - major league paycheck while he's on IL. That's something.

So (unconfirmed) reports are that the bruised hand is now apparently broken. 4-6 weeks. This game is cruel.

We are now showing the bids in the most recent update. Clearly, the bids in the next will have to come up a bit.

More than for Vierling. Moniak looks great this spring. I'm in.

He is breaking camp with the Phillies and sharing center with Vierling. Bids?

I'd forgotten he was a #1 overall. So I checked the 2016 draft just for kicks---wow, talk about an underachieving draft class. Blake Rutherford was DFAed today in fact.
All kinds of unfulfilled potential in round 1, just from guys who made MLB rosters: Nick Senzel, AJ Puk, Carter Kieboom, Cal Quantrill, Forrest Whitley.
It's early yet, but beyond Will Smith there don't seem to be any sure superstars in the bunch.
