Injury potential is significant though.  Plus he will most likely be capped after only tossing 109 IP in 2014, further devaluing his stock.  I like him right now and enjoy the ride but don't expect him to hold up all year.

Assuming he stays healthy, Wacha looks like he will prove me wrong in my estimates of his prowess.  Yes, it's only three starts, but as my son would say, he's on pace to earn $43 in 5x5 this year.  He is still never going to get the high K's to be a top guy, but there is a lot to like here.

He'll be available in both PCL and my home NL only 5x5 next season and hence is a trade target this season for prospects.
