It looks like the O's now have DH covered between Wieters and Joseph.  Only 1B, LF, and RF left to go on offense.  Plus their #2 starting pitcher and their setup reliever.  I hope they can deal Wieters.  He really doesn't fit on this type of roster.

Wieters accepted the O's qualifying offer, despite being a Scott Boras client. Gamble is probably twofold: 1). A full season to demonstrate that he's recovered from Tommy John surgery; and 2). Belief that more teams will need a catcher in 2017.

Back this weekend.  We will see if his elbow holds up.  Took as long as a pitcher would. I'm hoping for the best, but expecting a DL stint in around 9 days.

Hardy should be back from his oblique strain, but I think he needs more time.  Bad news is that Bud Norris is back this weekend too.  Sunk cost.  He should be waived.  Schoop is back soon too.
