Signs a one-year deal with the Tigers. 2013 is a long, long time ago.

He won't be on my draft list ever again.....unless it's an 18 team only league.

I came across my 2012 prospect rankings a few weeks back and he was #2 between Harper and Trout. That's why I almost never take a pitching prospect in the reserve draft until round 7($5).

Owie...so glad I kept him on reserves in CBS. That was a rough one to watch today.

Was dropped this past week in my AL only league. I wonder if he gets FAAB'd on Sunday.......

Per our discussions on Matt Moore, Chris Tillman, and similar pitchers with negative projections, but potential for better seasons: Fangraphs on Confident Projections

MikeG's comment is the key comment.  It's all about the extent to which you're stuck with him.

I had Matt Moore in Doubt Wars last year and had to suffer with him to the bitter end. His last two starts were a condensed version of all 31.

On September 20 against the Rockies at home: 6 IP, 6 H, 2 BB, 6 S0, no runs and the W.

On September 26 against the Diamondbacks on the road: 1.1 IP, 5 H, 3 BB, 0 SO, 8 runs, 7 earned.

In every month he had a dominant game and in no month did he have an ERA under 4.70.

My $2 bid limit simply means if someone else nominates him I can consider chiming in. But with the way he treated me last year, it's highly unlikely that I will. I can say for a fact he won't be on my Doubt Wars team.

In leagues like CBS/Tout where you can stream/reserve pitchers like Moore, I like the move.

In leagues like LABR/my home league where you have to either use the pitcher or cut him, not so much.
