Gale winds keep blowing. In his four starts since returning from the DL, he's lasted 14.1 IP, given up 32 hits, and allowed 21 runs. "There's no reason for questions," Harvey said. "There are no answers."

Yeah, but the Astros were!  This was a Hurricane Harvey after-party and this time it was Harvey that took the beating.

Activated off the DL to start against the Astros today.

I have him in CBS....I am not excited.

Was leading 4-3 when he was pulled with one out in the sixth, but pulled he was, lose the Mets did, as a starter failed to record an out in the seventh inning for the 17th consecutive game.

The Mets have the worst ERA in baseball. The team BABIP is .320.

But Harvey's fastball is creeping back up there. He hit 98 a few times yesterday in Arizona. The 245 four-seamers he has thrown so far have an average speed of 94.30. Their average exit velocity is 88.72.

K rate sucks, and he's getting pounded despite a low BABIP.   Not a pretty sight ...

All in on Harvey in three leagues.   In 5 x 5, kept him at $11.  In two 4 x 4 leagues, purchased him at $15 and $9.

By the way, speaking of my beloved Mets, Tim Tebow hit a two-run homer in his first minor league at-bat. Opposite field, off a lefty.

When are we going to get a Tim Tebow page?

The Dark Knight Returns!

Good showing by Harvey tonight, right out of the 'Work Fast, Throw Strikes' playbook. Needed only 77 pitches to get through 6 2/3, no walks, 4 Ks.

It's just one game, but it seems as if he's trying to morph away from power and towards finesse. However, his first pitch of the game was 94, and so was his last, which Matt Kemp rocketed into the dark night.

As a Mets fan and a Harvey owner in both of my leagues, I'm breathing easier for now.

$10 in Tout.

Impossible to handicap the Mets.

Just about any way you look at it, his season was a disaster, and he still managed to get a nice little raise from the Mets yesterday in his second year of being eligible for arbitration.

Why would the Mets do that? Why would they agree to pay him $5.125 million, when he was paid $4.325 million in 2016 and pitched the way he did?

Because his agent would have rolled out all kinds of charts to show what his career had been worth to the Mets so far.
