Manny Pina (C) MIL - Mar. 02

https://www.rotowire.com/baseball/player.php?id=738495

Pina is 2-for-10 with an RBI and a run through four appearances this spring.

ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: While Yasmani Grandal is no longer on the Brewers' roster, Omar Narvaez is, so Pina will slot in as the Brewers' No. 2 catcher for the second year in a row. Narvaez's skills behind the plate do not compare to Grandal's, though, and Pina fared far better against left-handed pitching last year, so Pina should play more than your standard backup catcher and a platoon could even be in the cards.

I'm sure it's been looked at but it seems like it's Hispanic players with a special character in the name (Pina, Mejia) which we can't correctly search. Of course, why can't SOME people find them and others can that I don't know.

Here's what happens: You sort the stats by Catcher. You get the Top 20 or so. If you click the 2 button for the next group you lose the Catcher sort filter. Which makes it kind of worthless for deep searches.

Colin, there should be a fix for that, no?

What is the problem here? Except that Manny  Pina should get more at bats.

FWIW, it is hard to find guys with the stats link as well.  If you are Acuna, no problem. If you are Sean Rodriguez...good luck. No worries though. If you have looked into it and don't have a solution, it's all good.

Excellent solution.

Colin, who programs this site, has never been able to figure out why some players don't come up for some people in a search.

Players not found through the search function can be found under the Stats link above.
