I'm working on Big Prices for the Guide. Today I have Manny Machado with a price of $35. What do you think?

I'm all for bunting to get on but with two strikes?

Can't argue with the result.

He'll pair up well with Gary Sanchez in New York...at least from the hustle perspective.

A one game suspension here would send a message ...

It sure didn't look like clean baseball to me.

Please tell me Cashman isn't stupid enough to throw $200 million at another superfluous righty power hitter, especially one who's a jerk.

Why throw Machado a strike on a 3-0 pitch? You knew he had the green light, you knew you would throw ball four on 3-1.

His triple with two outs in the 8th was the key hit of the game. Dodgers make the post-season. Today, and possibly tomorrow, they play to avoid the wild card.

Anyone care to list all the interleague trades so far?

Doesn't it seem MLB talent is going to the NL, minor league the other way?

This might be the only year in the next decade that the NL wins the interleague play, with mega players like Manny going back to one Evil Empire or the other this winter.

Not to say the NL will win this year.

Scorecard right now is NL 110, AL 92.
