Yes indeed, the Guide has hit the newsstands!

Here are Peter's pickers and panners sitting arounf the hot stove a month or so ago...

DROOKER PAN: Durable with good numbers,
but he’ll be significantly overpriced in all
formats...his lifetime OPS away from Camden
Yards is less than .800.

PIANOWSKI PAN: Camden Yards was his
buoyancy for years. Petco Park did him no fa-
vors. He probably doesn’t want to run anymore,
and he’s been paid. I no longer get excited for
his upside, and I no longer see a sturdy floor.

DAVITT PAN: Take 30+ HR to the bank, but
expect .260 BA, not .290; 5 bags, not 15; 80-ish
runs and RBI, not 100-ish; and sub-$25, not
$30+.

MELNICK PICK: Padres bring in many former
Orioles coaches to help him regain his star
status.

STEINHORN PAN: Although Machado’s first
season in San Diego was by no means a major
disappointment, his fantasy owners were
surely expecting better. A career-low batting
average and a career-high strikeout total are
worrisome enough, but I’m most concerned
about his home/road splits, mainly his .703
OPS at home compared to his .882 OPS away
from spacious Petco Park. I’m fine with taking
a chance on a Machado rebound in 2020, just
not at the cost of a top-40 pick.

Now the trick is to find a newsstand.
