If he didn't bat 8th, Maikel would have ten walks.

Why did Maikel pick yesterday to join the club?

Because Peter and I benched him in the XFL.

Not Franco.  Guzman.  Bid away!

Basically, one of the few not yet injured on my team -- Stanton, Turner, Tulo, Gordon, and Joe Kelly all this week.  I'm warning you!

He goes in the final update as an "AP sleeper."

Of course, he's nothing like that at this point. Slashing .400/.591/1.000 in his first five games, he's guaranteed the room is entirely woke this weekend when he's nominated.

But we didn't change the note in Quick Memo. I just want you to know I wrote it weeks ago when Maikel was looking terrible in spring training and there was talk about Kingery claiming his job.

And now that I've bragged on that, Maikel will probably go back to being his old self.

Why mess with success?

I think they're going to drop Herrera, maybe Hernandez, to 8th pretty soon.

Do you want your hitter to bat in front of the pitcher in a 5x5 mixed?

You do if it's an OBP league. Three intentional walks for Maikel yesterday. He singled and homered when hey pitched to him.
