. . . and Gibson promptly pitches his ass off.  This game.

First comment of the year and it's because he gets the draw against everyone's favorite pitcher of the future Lucas Giolito.  Gibson comes into the game with a 6.05 ERA and 1.73 WHIP so it's a good matchup for the erratic Giolito in his American League debut.

Strikeouts take him from -$14 to only -$6 in 5x5.  Strikeouts, the great equalizer.  He's awful, but not quite as bad as you might think if you're in 5x5.  Definitely not worth rostering, but hey, it's only -$6 so far.

I think that at least 4 of us have Giolito in one league or another so we will be wishing Gibson lives up to his season averages tonight against the depleted White Sox.
