After trouncing the Tigers yesterday, the Twins go into the All-Star break nine games over .500, the Tigers at an even .500. Who would've thunk?

Had a 19/17 K/BB ratio over his first eight starts heading into his start today against the White Sox.

Goes eight strong innings today punching out eight batters and walking none. He showed great command today, and did a solid job working both sides of the plate and mixing up his fastball with his off speed stuff. What I really liked was the way his fastball moved against LHB's, which broke right across the plate after it looked like it was headed right for their hip.

I own him in my home AL-Only so I have watched most of his starts, but today's performance opened my eyes. He was that good.
