Excellent first effort. Almost as many swing-and-misses (12) as called strikes (16).

Before the season, there was quite a consensus as to where Kyle ranked among the top 100 prospects in all of baseball...

Baseball America: 68th.
Baseball Prospectus: 64th.
Bullpen Banter: 79th.
Marc Hulet: 77th.
John Sickels: 62nd.

It looks like he had bad BABIP luck but a great strand rate in the Arizona Fall League. His price, along with Aaron Hicks', tells me the LABRites, as always, were ready to take serious flyers.

not sure if he's a prospect or a rookie anymore, but coming off Tommy John he has a shot at the Twins rotation.

$3 bid in LABR
