I'm working on Big Prices for the Guide. Today I have Kyle Barraclough with a price of $2. What do you think?

Now the DL. Lower back stiffness.

The mother of all meltdowns. His body language says it all while the ball is just beginning its flight.

Another save tonight.

It's been nearly a month since he gave up a hit, just one base runner allowed in June.

I was offered Chase Anderson straight up for him tonight (not the PCL). I bit my lip and replied 'no thanks' instead of  'are you crazy you addle-brained moron?'.

Maybe because it's the middle of June & 11 others have 11+ saves. That's a lot of ground to make up.

And follows it up with #4 tonight. A tidy 14 pitches to get Panik, Posey, and Cutch on two groundouts and a K.

Reminder me why anyone pays for closers at April auctions again.

Converted his third last night. Two groundball outs and a strikeout protecting a two-run lead. Eleven pitches, nine for strikes. Strike one to all three batters.

Converted his first opportunity tonight - a relatively easy 13 pitch inning with a 3-run lead. Steckenrider pitched the 7th while Ziegler got the 8th.

Brad Ziegler out as Marlins closer

May 31, 2018

Miami Marlins — As we suspected after last night’s blown save, Brad Ziegler is out as closer in Miami. Mattingly did not announce a replacement but we think Kyle Barraclough will take over the ninth inning for the Marlins, with Drew Steckenrider moving up to be the go-to guy in the eighth.

Updated hierarchy: Barraclough | Steckenrider | Wittgren.

(Editor's note: and Jeter is still tankin'.)
