Matthew Trueblood at Baseball Prospectus:

Ketel Marte is almost certainly going to do something this season that no one else has done before. When he played center field on Tuesday night, he made his 78th appearance at that position. When he took the field Wednesday against the Rockies, Marte appeared in his 72nd game at second base. Barring a season-ending injury, Marte is going to become the first player ever to hit more than 25 homers while playing at least 75 games at any up-the-middle defensive position plus another 75 at any other spot.

Only eight other players have met that standard of versatility, regardless of their power output, and only Tony Phillips (circa 1984) has appeared in 75 or more games at two up-the-middle spots, as Marte soon will...

The wild thing about Marte (and Escobar) is that Chase Field actually has a .78 park factor for HRs this year.

The catch of the year just made by Ketel Marte in center field in Wrigley. He didn't come within a country mile of the previous fly ball. The wind has got the D'backs totally freaked.

It's hilarious. No way anyone's hitting a home run but if they get it in the air there's a good chance of a triple.
