BREAKOUTS: Ketel
Marte
brought high expectations into last season, because of his excellent
short stint in 2015. He was fine, it turned out, but he didn’t come close to
living up to them. He’ll get another shot this year, in the National League and
in a hitter’s park. He runs the risk of being overhyped, but he’s talented
enough he could conceivably outrun that coverage.

And he plays with zest. Something M's sorely need.

A big game for Marte last night. 4-for-5 with his first homer, a three run shot, and after a slow start he now has the BA up to .297.

Year of birth has been corrected. I don't know why that keeps happening.

Bids don't look good if you're hoping to get him. $18 in CBS and $15 in LABR.

Bids look good.  His age, not so much.

Nicknamed KMart?

Joe Sheehan pans him in the Rotowire mag.

"... At just 165 pounds and with no power to speak of, he shouldn't be able to catch up to major-league velocity, but he did manage a .283 average and .119 ISO, even as his strikeout rate spiked. Marte may eventually have a career, but I'll take the under on all of his 2016 projections."

4 picks and no pans in the Guide.  But is he safe from Taylor?  Got to figure a slow start could get him demoted.

I found The Guide yesterday at the Dartmouth Bookstore---they had like 10 copies. Apparently Dartmouth is one of your hubs, Peter.
