Time to give Hernan Perez a slight uptick? Someone has to man 2B until the eventual arrival of Hiura.

Schoop was non-tendered and is no longer on the roster. One less hurdle for Hiura to clear now. Fangraphs has uppped Hiura's in-game power from 45 preseason last year to 60 now. That's a stunningly large upgrade, especially in the power department. I agree that his timetable is probably June. If he's available in your league, I'd try to get him now. I got him last year in our prospects draft. Looking forward to seeing this kid play in the majors next season. And, based on what I've read, I'd say he's more along the line of $5 or $6

My guess on his ETA is June.

I don't remember that but didn't we see him several times? My impression was he put the bat on the ball and didn't try to pull everything.

I agree that it's very unlikely he makes the team out of spring training.

I think he's still a work-in-progress. Jordan Yamamoto had him right flustered in the AFL Stars game with the breaking stuff. He'll see plenty of it next year. I think the price is fair, but there's no guarantee we see him early, especially with Jonathan Schoop on the roster. If Schoop bounces back (which is possible), and the Brewers are contending, (which they should be), when does Hiura get the call?

More if he makes the team. Looked good in the Arizona Fall League, where he slashed .323/.371/.563 and was voted the MVP

I'm working on Big Prices for the Guide. Today I have Keston Hiura with a price of $4. What do you think?
