Been a long year for Graveman holders, as he went through May and June with an ERA from high 4 to high 5, though July and August have been much kinder.

Tough to hold onto a pitcher like that without the big K or nice whip to balance things off. My guess is, Graveman sits with teams near the bottom of the order, if at all. So far, he's the starter you wish you had skipped on auction day for the middle reliever with some upside.

A two hitter -- no walks, five strikeouts -- last night in Chicago. With a DP faced one batter over the minimum. A 2.05 ERA, 0.73 WHIP in his last three starts.

Came out to pitch the ninth trailing 3-1. Retired the side in order. His reward: got the W when Smolinski tied the game with a two-run bomb and Healy ended it one batter later (two outs now) with another.

I couldn't find Sean Manaea in the system, but it's worthy to mention that he's been called up and will be making his debut Friday. A great start for the southpaw down on the farm with I believe a 21/4 K/BB. First Berrios, and now Manaea. It has been a good week for several of my teams.
