He comes in at No. 6 in BA's latest ranking of prospects on A's.

Scouting Report: Graveman’s stuff improved in his
first full pro season and he became the fifth player from the 2013 draft
class to reach the majors after beginning the season at low Class A.
His fastball velocity ticked up, ranging from 89-94 in the rotation
while sitting 90-93 and touching 95 out of the bullpen...

The Future: His groundball tendencies, home run
prevention and plus control, as well as below-average strikeout rate
(6.1 K/9 as a pro), make Graveman a back-end starter candidate, and he
should compete for a spot in the Oakland rotation in 2015. He’ll report
to Triple-A Nashville if he’s crowded out

For the Josh Donaldson trade to be anything more than a giveaway, at least one of the non-Lawrie pieces has to come through. The candidates are Sean Nolin, Franklin Barreto and this fellow here.

Graveman was drafted in the 8th round in 2013.

Needs stats and a bio

Bats: Right, Throws: Right
Height: 6' 2", Weight: 195 lb.
Born: December 21, 1990

All he's done this year:
Low A 2-0 0.34 ERA 26.1 IP(4 starts)
High A 8-4 2.23 ERA 96.1 IP(16 starts)
AA 1-0 1.50 ERA 6 IP(1 start)
AAA 1-2 1.04 ERA 26 IP(4 starts)
Overall 12-6 1.68 ERA 155 IP(25 starts) and 2 HR allowed

Not a big strikeout pitcher but that heavy 94 mph sinker says so what.
