Rotoworld:

07.13: Josh Winder was charged with five runs over five innings Tuesday in a loss to the Brewers.  (Winder gave up four hits, walked two, and struck out two. Andrew McCutchen hit a two-run home run in the top of the first, and then in the top of the
fifth, a Willy Adames two-run home run put five earned runs on Winder's
line. His 3.77 ERA over 45 1/3 innings is solid, but his 29/14 K/BB
speaks to his underwhelming strikeout upside.)

Rotoworld:

05.12: Josh Winder gave up four runs -- three earned -- in a loss to the Twins on Thursday over 3 2/3 innings.  (Winder,
25, gave up six hits, and he walked three against two strikeouts. The
right-hander had major issues with his command, as he threw just
45-of-77 pitches for strikes and also gave up a two-run homer to
Yordan Alvarez. Winder was due for some regression after his excellent
run, and all things considered, it could have gone worse. He takes a
2.45 ERA into a very friendly matchup on Tuesday against the A's. )

This kid can pitch. I'm kicking myself that I FAAB'd Kyle Isbel over him last week, but no one else took him so I'll be looking to add Winder this Sunday.

Josh Winder, RHP, Twins: The Twins starting pitching is still somewhat thin, even after the recent signing of Chris Archer. Winder is offering a sign that he may be able to help sooner or later. His second spring outing was nearly as good as his first. He sat 93-95 mph with his four-seam fastball and threw both his slider and changeup for strikes.
