Interesting note in the MLBTR story about MLB game cancellations tonight, which began when Milwaukee, close to Kenosha, voted not to play. This followed the Bucks making the same decision. Here is the quote:
As the Brewers were deciding whether to play Wednesday, star reliever Josh Hader said (via Bob Nightengale of USA Today): “It’s a tremendous stand. We have to bring light to this situation that we have, it’s a big thing.”
Wait, whaaaaaa? Hader, of all people, is their spokesman?? I'm all for 2nd chances, but maybe a black player or someone with no history of public racist comments might have been a better choice.
I immediately looked down to the comments area, expecting to see an erupting volcano. But even though the posting was only minutes old, comments were closed.
Probably a smart move, MLBTR.

Josh Hader
There’s nobody in baseball quite like Josh Hader, who led all relievers with 138 strikeouts last season to go along with his 37 saves. Despite some hard-hit weirdness last year, he’s liable to help you in four categories due in part to his tendency to pitch multiple innings.

How many pitchers with 70+ IP gave up more liners than grounders?
Certainly none, besides Hader, who were effective.

Above 18, Hader scares me.
As 2018 showed, he can certainly earn $20+ without being the full time closer. But with a different bullpen makeup I just have the sense Counsel could decide anytime to go by some sort of committee that brings Hader's saves back down to the low 20's.
So the $20 Hader might earn in that circumstance would get you your money back - but leave you short of the saves you were trying to buy.

The arbiter clearly doesn't play in 5x5. CBS paid $25 for him.

When you sort pitchers by $4x4 in Stats, you find Josh Hader at No.5, earning $39.
And you see as the bids last year from the Three Amigos: AP4 $9, PK5 $8, MF5 $12.
I'm embarrassed by AP4. What was I thinking?

When you sort by $5x5, Hader drops down to No. 13.
And Mike still wins.
The only appreciable difference between 4x4 bids and 5x5 bids is what we pay for closers.
