Would the Braves really have been with a replacement player at third this year than than a replacement player at first? Or second, for that matter?

Touched them all for the 37th time tonight. Hope you ignored all those pans in the Guide.

I'm fine with calling it amazing, because it is.

In another woeful season for the Palin Comparisons in the PCL, I did come across a most interesting statistical anomaly from today's box scores.

Today, I got 4 stolen bases - from Puig, Schwarber, Donaldson, and Carpenter.

Thinking that that list looked familiar, I looked back a few days. Just 2 days ago, I got 4 HRs - from Puig, Schwarber, Donaldson and Carpenter.

Maybe not amazing, but definitely interesting, particularly since the SBs were the first of the season for both Schwarber and Donaldson.

BABIP is still high, but he is on track to earn around 20 like he did in 2017 and in-line with bids

Another wild guess (Baez thread) while I was penning my picks and pans for the Guide.

DROOKER PAN: A few owners in your league
will bid based on reputation...don’t let it be you

PIANOWSKI PAN: It’s not that you can’t take a dinged player in March, but you better get a
notable discount. I paid close to full freight for
Donaldson at Tout, and regretted it instantly.
I was able to cash out in the spring, but the
damage had been done. Injury speculation is
fine, but make sure you leave plenty of room
for possible profit, and plenty of room to u-
turn out of a bad spot. Pick those players as if
they might be pleasant surprises — you can’t
rely on them as core players.

PATTON PAN: I imagine I have plenty of company here.

Signed a one-year deal with the Braves in November for $23 million.

Three weeks later, it looks like his agent did good.
