Adolis Garcia (OF) TEX - Aug. 10
https://www.rotowire.com/baseball/player.php?id=14541
Garcia went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, a walk and a stolen base in Wednesday's extra-inning victory versus the Astros.
ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Garcia singled, stole second base and came around to score in the top of the sixth inning before later adding two more base knocks and scoring another run. The stolen base was his 16th of the year, matching his season total from 2021. Garcia has now produced at least one hit in seven straight games, batting .385 with a home run, eight RBI, four runs and a stolen base over that stretch.

The AL has surged to 74-65 lead over the NL (584-569 in runs). Adolis has been en fuego -- sizzling, if you prefer -- ever since I traded him.
Rotowire:
Garcia led off the bottom of the ninth with a home run to give the Rangers a walkoff victory. The 29-year-old outfielder only started receiving regular playing time last season after making the Rangers out of spring training and he is making a reputation for himself in the big leagues as a viable power hitter. He hit 31 home runs in his rookie campaign last year and is on pace to break that career-high this season. Garcia's bat has been sizzling as of late, evidenced by a .318/.351/.602 slash line in June.

Before the panners in the Guide give themselves six pats on the back, they might take a look at what Statcast thinks the results for Adolis should have been after 203 plate appearances.
BA .232, xBA .270
SA .432, xSA .518
Maybe we should replace our rate stats with expected stats. When your guy hits a screaming line drive right into the shift, instead of cursing, you say, "Nice try!"

Rotoworld:
05.15: Adolis García launched two homers and collected five RBI on Sunday, powering the Rangers to a 7-1 victory over the Red Sox. (García
put the Rangers ahead with a three-run blast off Red Sox' righty
reliever Ryan Brasier in the sixth inning. He also added a two-run shot
off Tyler Danish in the eighth inning to record his fourth career
multi-homer effort. It was the first time he's left the yard since April
29. The 29-year-old outfielder has gotten off to an ice-cold start this
season, hitting .205/.261/.418 with 20 runs scored, six homers, 23 RBI
and four stolen bases across 134 plate appearances.)

Rotoworld:
victimized Guardians' ace Shane Bieber for his two-run shot in the
fourth inning, increasing the Rangers edge to 3-0.It was his only hit in
three at-bats on the night. For the spring, the 2021 breakout star is
now hitting .269/.406/.462 with a homer, two RBI and a 6/6 K/BB ratio in
26 at-bats.)

I'm predicting that Adolis ends up on the Moose Factory this year. We'll see on April 16th. Or 17th if you've gone to bed.
Remote auction blues. Again.

$7 in Tout after $13 in LABR.
Clearly the Tout Warriors were even more intimidated than the LABRites by Rotoman's Guide.
