All AL and NL West teams are bidding aggressively to acquire Lyles for pregame batting practice.

Sun, Sep 6 - Jordan Lyles gave up four runs on three hits over 6 1/3 innings in Sunday's loss to the Mariners.  The right-hander also issued four walks while striking out four. Most
of the damage done against him came from the long ball, with Kyle Seager
blasting a two-run homer in the opening inning and Kyle Lewis adding on
a solo shot in the fourth.   Today was one of his better outings over the past 45 days.

Lyles will carry a miserable 8.07 ERA and
1.65 WHIP into Friday's start against the Athletics  (Rotoworld.com)

Alex, unfortunately Jordy is with Texas, not Milwaukee.

Minor's 3 year scan is reasonably sturdy.

Wouldn't the Plexiglas tell us that Minor, Lynn, and Gibson are likely to regress to bad? Lyles, is a wild card. Kluber Plexiglases up. He has to. I'm not predicting disaster, I like all these guys, and Kluber is a great add. But I wouldn't be comfortable if I was the Rangers. Fortunately, they have four top prospects slated for Triple-A this year.

Signed with the Rangers last week for two years and $16 million.

The rotation as of today looks like Kluber, Minor, Lynn, Gibson, Lyles.

With good health and no serious regression, could be a good one.
