Welcome! You are invited to wander around and read all of the comments that have been posted here at Patton & Co., but as soon as you register you can see the bid limits that Alex, Peter and Mike propose for each player, and you can post your own comments. Registering is free, so please join us!

He's back, likely to put up numbers to entice free agent bids next weekend, and then crush the winners with a Hooverian performance thereafter.

Hello, Jumbo!

Placing him next to Hoover.

Just putting Jumbo back at the top (he was about to disappear)...

This is the perfect solution to the Jumbo problem. Make sure he never disappears off the page!

Is the 12 runs considered an improvement? Iglesias will be arriving soon to save the day.

Meanwhile, another scoreless inning and a save last night in AAA.

And the Reds bullpen has given up 12 runs in their last 3 games ...

When I search for "jumbo diaz", I get nothing.

When I search for "jumbo" I get these 2 ... (ie. same as andypro's screenshot) ...

Normie Roy p Boston Braves, 1950
Nick Strincevich p Philadelphia Phillies, 1948

When I search for "diaz" I get 129 ... but none between these 2 ...

When I search for all NL players in 2016, I get 476, but none between these 2 ...

You see, this is EXACTLY what Bernie Sanders is talking about.

The 'Haves' (the one-percenters like Rotoman) get to search for and find Jumbo Diaz, while the poor working class schlubs like me get left out in the cold.

Make America Venezuela Again!

I will say that Strincevich's great second half won me my league in 1944

I have no idea how to screen capture, but if I try that search I only get the bottom 2 results.
