His slump and the Big Three's slump continued right through the postseason, which, as a result, consisted of two games.

Baez, Bryant and Rizzo went 0-for-12 yesterday. On Wednesday they were 1-for-12. Since winning the World Series in 2016, the three of them have hit .134 in the postseason, striking out 52 times in 142 AB.

It's not age. How can it be age when Baez is 27, Bryant is 28 and Rizzo is 31?

It's a new curse.

Javier clouts two homers and swats a single, as the Cubs stick it to the Tigers and bump their record to 18-10. Their run differential, however, is a mere +10. The only other team in the division with a winning record is the Cardinals, who are two games above .500 and have played only 18 games.

At pretty much the halfway mark for most teams, the NL and AL are tied, 73-73. The NL has a +20 run differential, 703-683.

But can Fangraphs be right about his fielding in 2018? He was slightly negative compared to a replacement player?

A much better year in the Field, according to Fangraphs. Baez helped the Cubs as much with his glove as his bat.
