Seems as long as I can remember the Cubbies had a farm system that produced guys who K a lot.

Baez has struck out 45% of his ABs
Alcantara 28%
Lake 35%

And between AA and AAA:
Bryant 33%

Clearly, patience is not a virtue in the Cubs organization.

Might strike out 100 times this year...in less than a 1/3 of the Cubs games.

Ummm...that is not good.

A 2-HR day

Interesting that to see this video, I have to watch an ad that shows Carlos Beltran taking a 5-hour engergy ... and he pretty much says it's "performance enhancing" ... hmmm ...

Another 2 bombs today...just smacked #2 in the 8th, for his 3rd in 2 days. I know it's Colorado, but the ball just jumps off this kids bat. Wow.

Had 2 HR and 2 BB on Sunday. Was absolutely crushing after his horrible start to season.

Looks to play 2B with Alcantara shifting to CF. Previews possible 2015 alignment with Bryant at 3B and Russell trying to force his way to the show. Barring a trade of course.

As a Cubs fan, it is now finally getting fun again.

The word is, his long awaited debut finally comes, tomorrow.

Funny - the night I caught him was an oasis of futility in the middle of some hot hitting!

Although given his swing that night - I'm still worried. He just looked completely out of kilter on his swing and misses.
