Kipnis also bulked up last off-season in a search for more power. Oops? "The Indians have given Jason Kipnis a different offseason conditioning program in hopes that he'll lose some weight and add some flexibility."

Imagine if he didn't steal 22 bases!

He did battle an oblique injury all season long which supposedly messed with his swing.  It's not an excuse but it might give some hope for a bounce back next year if he comes back 100%.

woof.  This guy was a dog last year.  Consensus top 20 hitter in AL, and he slugged .330.  SLUGGED!  In his age 27 year no less.

Finding highly productive hitters gets harder by the year.  Chase the new young stars and end up with Heyward/Harper/Kipnis or trust old standbys like Fielder/Wright/Votto.  Erm...

$33 in LABR this weekend.

And you were getting your hopes up, weren't you, when he went for $26 in CBS?
