I'm working on Big Prices for the Guide. Today I have Jackie Bradley with a price of $12. What do you think?

Do we have anyone who watched a lot of Diamondbacks games? Were they as good as advertised flashing the leather (+157)?

Everyone I know in Boston says Bradley was outstanding. Th highlight films bear that out. He certainly was fearless.

The Jays were brutal. I'm not shocked at all. Teoscar Hernandez was a huge contributor to the Jays defensive woes.

I am stunned that the Blue Jays and the Phillies were worse than the Orioles defensively. All I can say is that the ghost of Paul Blair must have somehow inflated the O's OF ratings.

I can attest to the Orioles being terrible defensively.

Where do you suppose the Red Sox rank in team defense, according to John Dewan in the new Bill James Handbook?

Close to the top, no? You watched the postseason.

Close to the bottom.

Adding up Defensive Runs Saved by Position and Team, they come out with -26 runs. Only the Pirates (-36), Nationals (-55), White Sox (-56), Mets (-77), Orioles (-94), Blue Jays (-100), and Phillies (-146) were worse.

Weakest position on the Red Sox was shortstop (-25), followed by second base and third base (both -17).

And the next weakest was center field (-10).

Surprising, to say the least.

Three hits in four games and he gets the MVP trophy.

Was it the old-school category called ribbies or that new-fangled thing called WPA?

What is the ground rule for the ball rolling along that padding? If it stays up longer and he gets to third? A triple, no? If it stays up longer and he circles the bases? A homer?

A double if it doesn't come down?

Is there a ground rule?

According to Statcast, Jackie Bradley has the same expected production as Scooter Gennett.

I think they're saying Scooter is lucky.
