Got a steal last night. Almost hurt a finger sliding into third. The steal was nice. It is not going to be nearly enough.

one of the four Tiger hitters I have in LABR as I push for a title.

I need steals from Jones more than I need those homers, though I'm obviously not going to complain.

Accounted for two of the Tigers' six homers against the Royals.

Counting in a few AL-onlies, maybe.

Starting CF for the Tigers? Sounds like it. Of course, it also sounds like they may be considering signing Angel Pagan or trading for someone like Melvin Upton....

JaCoby Jones, cf, Tigers.
Jones, the Tigers’ No. 6 prospect, has put himself “in the mix” for the
starting center field job, Brad Ausmus told reporters Thursday after
Jones hit his second spring homer in a 5-3 win over Atlanta. Jones, a
second baseman at LSU, played shortstop with the Pirates before his
trade to Detroit for Joakim Soria in July 2015. The Tigers like his
versatility, but are reluctant to push him too soon to the majors and
he likely will begin 2017 at Triple-A.
